WHAT DOES THE CHAMBER OFFER?
Since its formation in early 2017, the Lexington, IL Chamber of Commerce's purpose has been to actively promote and improve the business environment of the City of Lexington through:
Events such as Main Street Under the Stars, Ladies Day Out, Deck the Halls, Walls, and All, and Howl at the Moon, all of which were fundraisers for College Scholarships;
Promotional Activities including a member directory, informational flyers, website
and Facebook page;
Annual Scholarships awarded to graduating Lexington IL High School Seniors going into the trade schools or Community Colleges after graduation,
(to date there have been 11 Scholarships awarded to 15 well deserving graduating Lexington High School Seniors);

Supporting the Lexington, IL School District 7 with contributions to their Music and Technical Departments;
Representing and supporting the business community at local and City-sponsored events, such as the Route 66 Red Carpet Corridor, the Governor's Motorcycle Ride,
The City of Lexington BBQ Picnic, Grants given to several businesses during the Covid-19 shutdown, and a grant to the City to help purchase the electronic sign at the corner of Main Street and Route 66 to help promote everything happening in and for the City of Lexington;
Networking through membership meetings, group emails and Chamber website.
